hey men what’s up hope you’re succeeding and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this since generally i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has actually increased so i required a i did some research and then i learnt that this business called sum up um it’s really good it’s very convenient and i purchased the and just wanted to show you that what comes in package ideally we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll link it to our phone and see how it works so with no hold-up let’s get into the video and then let’s check out what is available in package and we proceed and open it up alright it’s a really minimalistic style and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m guessing and after that that’s simply a hole to put put a lanyard and it does offer you some serial numbers say some up over here on off switch and on the leading you have the place where you can insert the credit card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark just to represent alright so this is the product i believe that it looks actually really neat truly cool so let’s see what else is available in the box package style is pretty neat uh so first off we have the user guide some safety information decals the intriguing thing is that with the the charges are rather low which is why they have actually got a substantial client base now as like with paypal they do charge slightly more so with uh i think it’s 1.65 and if you send out somebody a qr code i think so it’s two and a half percent they’re going to draw from the total payment but all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american express union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay as well apart from that in package there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll proceed and we’ll link our phone and we’ll have a look at how it in fact works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to reveal you how to pair it and how it actually works so do you need to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as quickly as i open the app um i have couple of options all i require to do is click the more button so i’ll proceed and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you simply need to push this button over here and as soon as you turn it on it flashes couple of lights and after that it states on the top and it offers you the battery sign as well after that it’ll simply take a few seconds once it initializes then we can link the phone so what we need to do is we require to enter into the payment methods and over here we have card reader it states air tap to setup and you have money payment as well if you need to take cash payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo design will turn up and it’ll state that your is you know it’s it’s nearby you can link so you just hit link and i’ll state connecting so that’s linked so it’s really really simple extremely intuitive absolutely nothing complex and over here there is a sort of a connection or a bluetooth logo design if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s revealing that it’s linked once when you’ve done that all you need to do is press the done button and which’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be linked so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh say i don’t understand uh one pound or perhaps let’s opt for five pounds and i struck charge and it’ll say card reader over here it provides you 3 choice payment link and cash uh let’s hit the and it says uh reader upkeep part among three now the factor is since there must be a software upgrade so that is why it is doing this this is simply gon na be the first time it’s not gon na take place constantly uh it’s really easy and straightforward i’m thinking and then you see it says um it’s five pounds payment you can either tab or you can insert the card which’s how it is so it’s giving you the wave logo design or you can place it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is showing up over here it states to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m guessing that once when i touch the card it would just go you know all these lights would uh illuminate so so as i do not wish to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um strike cancel so men this finishes up my video for this sum up if you people are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small company even you can constantly use this there is another 3g where you know you do not need a cellphone to connect it’s got an integrated sim card and i think it’s an excellent alternative if you do not wish to fiddle with your phone excessive and i saw that it’s a very good alternative you can go onto the up site and check it out over there but for me personally i believe that this uh this is an useful device you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small company even you can always keep this and after that you know people have this self-confidence that
