hey men what’s up hope you’re doing well and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this since normally i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has increased so i needed a i did some research and then i learnt that this company called sum up um it’s actually great it’s extremely convenient and i bought the and just wanted to show you that what is available in the box ideally we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll connect it to our phone and see how it works so with no delay let’s get into the video and after that let’s take a look at what can be found in the box and we proceed and open it up fine it’s an extremely minimalistic design and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m thinking and after that that’s simply a hole to put put a lanyard and it does offer you some serial numbers state some up over here on off switch and on the leading you have the location where you can place the credit card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark just to represent alright so this is the item i believe that it looks truly believe so it’s two and a half percent they’re going to take from the total payment however all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american express union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay too apart from that in package there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll proceed and we’ll connect our phone and we’ll have a look at how it in fact works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to reveal you how to pair it and how it in fact works so do you have to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as quickly as i open the app um i have number of alternatives all i require to do is click the more button so i’ll go ahead and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you simply need to push this button over here and as quickly as you turn it on it flashes few lights and after that it says on the top and it provides you the battery indicator as well after that it’ll simply take a few seconds once it initializes then we can link the phone so what we require to do is we require to enter into the payment methods and over here we have card reader it says air tap to setup and you have cash payment also if you require to take money payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo will show up and it’ll say that your is you know it’s it’s nearby you can link so you simply hit connect and i’ll say linking so that’s connected so it’s really very easy really user-friendly absolutely nothing complicated and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo design if i’ll just bring it near and you can see that it’s revealing that it’s linked as soon as when you’ve done that all you need to do is press the done button and which’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be connected so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh state i don’t understand uh one pound or perhaps let’s choose 5 pounds and i struck charge and it’ll state card reader over here it provides you 3 option payment link and cash uh let’s strike the and it states uh reader upkeep part one of 3 now the reason is due to the fact that there must be a software update so that is why it is doing this this is simply gon na be the very first time it’s not gon na take place constantly uh it’s really easy and straightforward i’m guessing and after that you see it says um it’s 5 pounds payment you can either tab or you can place the card and that’s how it is so it’s giving you the wave logo or you can insert it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is showing up over here it states to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is radiant uh so i’m thinking that as soon as when i touch the card it would just go you understand all these lights would uh light up so so as i do not want to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um hit cancel so guys this concludes my video for this sum up if you people are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small company even you can always utilize this there is another 3g where you understand you don’t need a smart phone to connect it’s got an integrated sim card and i believe it’s a great choice if you do not wish to fiddle with your phone too much and i saw that it’s a great choice you can go onto the up site and check it out over there but for me personally i believe that this uh this is an useful gadget you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small company even you can constantly keep this and then you understand people have this
