hey men what’s up hope you’re succeeding and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this since usually i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has actually increased so i required a i did some research study and then i discovered that this company called sum up um it’s truly good it’s extremely useful and i bought the and simply wanted to reveal you that what can be found in the box hopefully we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll connect it to our phone and see how it works so with no hold-up let’s enter into the video and after that let’s take a look at what can be found in package and we go on and open it up alright it’s a very minimalistic style and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m thinking and after that that’s just a hole to put put a lanyard and it does give you some serial numbers state some up over here on off switch and on the leading you have the location where you can place the credit card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark just to represent all right so this is the item i believe that it looks really truly cool actually cool so let’s see what else comes in the box package style is pretty neat uh so first of all we have the user guide some safety info decals the intriguing thing is that with the the charges are rather low and that is why they’ve got a substantial customer base now as like with paypal they do charge slightly more so with uh i believe it’s 1.65 and if you send somebody a qr code i think so it’s two and a half percent they’re going to take from the overall payment but all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american express union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay also apart from that in the box there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll go ahead and we’ll connect our phone and we’ll take a look at how it really works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to reveal you how to combine it and how it in fact works so do you have to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as soon as i open the app um i have number of choices all i need to do is click the more button so i’ll go on and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you just have to push this button over here and as soon as you turn it on it flashes few lights and then it states on the top and it provides you the battery indicator as well after that it’ll just take a few seconds once it initializes then we can link the phone so what we require to do is we need to enter into the payment techniques and over here we have card reader it states air tap to setup and you have cash payment also if you require to take money payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo design will come up and it’ll state that your is you understand it’s it’s nearby you can link so you simply hit link and i’ll state linking so that’s linked so it’s really really easy extremely instinctive absolutely nothing complicated and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo design if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s revealing that it’s linked as soon as when you’ve done that all you have to do is push the done button and and that’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be linked so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh state i do not understand uh one pound or maybe let’s choose five pounds and i struck charge and it’ll say card reader over here it gives you three choice payment link and cash uh let’s hit the and it says uh reader maintenance part one of 3 now the reason is due to the fact that there need to be a software application upgrade so that is why it is doing this this is simply gon na be the first time it’s not gon na happen always uh it’s very basic and uncomplicated i’m guessing and then you see it says um it’s 5 pounds payment you can either tab or you can insert the card and that’s how it is so it’s giving you the wave logo or you can place it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is appearing over here it says to um please tap or insert card and that’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m guessing that once when i touch the card it would just go you know all these lights would uh illuminate so so as i do not want to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um hit cancel so people this concludes my video for this sum up if you people are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small company even you can always use this there is another 3g where you know you do not need a cellphone to link it’s got a built-in sim card and i think it’s an excellent option if you do not want to fiddle with your phone excessive and i saw that it’s an excellent alternative you can go onto the up website and check it out over there but for me personally i think that this uh this is a handy gadget you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you know if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small company even you can constantly keep this and after that you understand individuals have this confidence that they can just touch and and that’s it so um you shouldn’t be having any concerns and uh that is it if you have any concerns just leave it in the remark section
