hey guys what’s up hope you’re succeeding and today my unboxing is going to have to do with a debit card reader why am i doing this due to the fact that usually i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has increased so i required a i did some research and then i learnt that this company called sum up um it’s really good it’s extremely helpful and i bought the and just wished to reveal you that what comes in package hopefully we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll connect it to our phone and see how it works so without any hold-up let’s enter into the video and then let’s take a look at what can be found in the box and we proceed and open it up all right it’s a really minimalistic style and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m guessing and then that’s simply a hole to put put a lanyard and it does provide you some serial numbers say some up over here on off switch and on the top you have the location where you can place the credit card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark simply to represent fine so this is the product i think that it looks actually really cool actually cool so let’s see what else comes in the box bundle style is pretty neat uh so to start with we have the user guide some safety info decals the fascinating thing is that with the the fees are quite low which is why they’ve got a substantial client base now as like with paypal they do charge somewhat more so with uh i think it’s 1.65 and if you send somebody a qr code i think so it’s 2 and a half percent they’re going to draw from the overall payment but all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american reveal union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay as well apart from that in the box there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll go on and we’ll link our phone and we’ll check out how it really works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to reveal you how to pair it and how it in fact works so do you need to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as soon as i open the app um i have number of options all i require to do is click the more button so i’ll proceed and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you simply need to push this button over here and as soon as you turn it on it flashes couple of lights and after that it says on the leading and it gives you the battery indicator too after that it’ll simply take a couple of seconds once it initializes then we can connect the phone so what we need to do is we need to enter into the payment techniques and over here we have card reader it says air tap to setup and you have cash payment as well if you need to take cash payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo design will show up and it’ll state that your is you know it’s it neighbors you can connect so you just struck link and i’ll state linking so that’s linked so it’s extremely really basic very instinctive absolutely nothing complicated and over here there is a sort of a connection or a bluetooth logo design if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s revealing that it’s connected once when you have actually done that all you need to do is push the done button and and that’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be linked so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh say i don’t know uh one pound or maybe let’s opt for five pounds and i struck charge and it’ll say card reader over here it provides you three alternative payment link and cash uh let’s hit the and it says uh reader maintenance part among three now the reason is due to the fact that there need to be a software application upgrade so that is why it is doing this this is simply gon na be the very first time it’s not gon na happen always uh it’s uncomplicated and really basic i’m guessing and after that you see it says um it’s five pounds payment you can either tab or you can place the card which’s how it is so it’s giving you the wave logo design or you can place it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is appearing over here it states to um please tap or insert card and that’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m guessing that once when i touch the card it would simply go you know all these lights would uh light up so so as i do not want to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um hit cancel so people this finishes up my video for this sum up if you guys are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small company even you can constantly utilize this there is another 3g where you know you don’t need a smart phone to connect it’s got an integrated sim card and i believe it’s a great choice if you do not want to fiddle with your phone excessive and i saw that it’s a very good option you can go onto the up website and check it out over there but for me personally i believe that this uh this is a helpful gadget you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesperson or if you are a small business even you can constantly keep this and then you understand individuals have this confidence that they can simply touch and which’s it so um you should not be having any concerns and uh that is it if you have any concerns simply leave it in the
