hey guys what’s up hope you’re doing well and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this due to the fact that usually i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has actually increased so i needed a i did some research study and after that i found out that this company called sum up um it’s really great it’s very helpful and i ordered the and simply wished to reveal you that what is available in the box ideally we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll link it to our phone and see how it works so without any delay let’s get into the video and then let’s have a look at what is available in package and we go ahead and open it up okay it’s a very minimalistic design and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the fascinating thing is that with the the charges are quite low which is why they have actually got a substantial client base now as like with paypal they do charge somewhat more so with uh i think it’s 1.65 and if you send out someone a qr code i believe so it’s two and a half percent they’re going to draw from the overall payment but all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american express union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay too apart from that in package there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll go on and we’ll connect our phone and we’ll check out how it actually works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to show you how to match it and how it in fact works so do you have to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as quickly as i open the app um i have couple of choices all i require to do is click the more button so i’ll go on and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you just have to press this button over here and as quickly as you turn it on it flashes few lights and after that it says on the top and it offers you the battery sign too after that it’ll simply take a couple of seconds once it initializes then we can link the phone so what we require to do is we need to enter into the payment approaches and over here we have card reader it says air tap to setup and you have money payment as well if you need to take money payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo will come up and it’ll say that your is you know it’s it neighbors you can link so you just hit link and i’ll say linking so that’s linked so it’s really very simple very intuitive nothing complex and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s showing that it’s connected as soon as when you have actually done that all you need to do is push the done button and and that’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be connected so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh say i do not know uh one pound or possibly let’s go for five pounds and i struck charge and it’ll state card reader over here it gives you 3 option payment link and money uh let’s strike the and it states uh reader upkeep part one of 3 now the reason is due to the fact that there should be a software upgrade so that is why it is doing this this is simply gon na be the very first time it’s not gon na occur always uh it’s uncomplicated and extremely easy i’m thinking and after that you see it states um it’s five pounds payment you can either tab or you can place the card and that’s how it is so it’s offering you the wave logo design or you can place it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is showing up over here it says to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m thinking that once when i touch the card it would simply go you understand all these lights would uh light up so so as i don’t want to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um hit cancel so people this wraps up my video for this sum up if you guys are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small business even you can constantly use this there is another 3g where you understand you do not need a smart phone to link it’s got an integrated sim card and i think it’s a great alternative if you do not wish to fiddle with your phone too much and i saw that it’s a great alternative you can go onto the up website and check it out over there but for me personally i think that this uh this is a handy gadget you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you know if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small company even you can constantly keep this and then you understand individuals have this self-confidence that they can simply touch and which’s it so um you should not be having any problems and uh that is it if you have any questions just leave it in the
