hey people what’s up hope you’re succeeding and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this because usually i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has actually increased so i needed a i did some research study and after that i learnt that this company called sum up um it’s truly excellent it’s really handy and i purchased the and simply wanted to show you that what can be found in the box hopefully we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll connect it to our phone and see how it works so without any delay let’s enter into the video and then let’s check out what can be found in package and we go on and open it up all right it’s a really minimalistic style and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m thinking and after that that’s simply a hole to put put a lanyard and it does give you some serial numbers say some up over here on off switch and on the leading you have the location where you can place the credit card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark simply to represent okay so this is the item i think that it looks truly actually neat actually cool so let’s see what else can be found in the box plan design is quite neat uh so first off we have the user guide some security information decals the intriguing thing is that with the the fees are rather low which is why they have actually got a big customer base now as like with paypal they do charge a little more so with uh i believe it’s 1.65 and if you send out somebody a qr code i think so it’s 2 and a half percent they’re going to take from the overall payment but all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american reveal union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay also apart from that in the box there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll proceed and we’ll link our phone and we’ll check out how it in fact works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to show you how to combine it and how it really works so do you have to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as quickly as i open the app um i have number of options all i need to do is click the more button so i’ll proceed and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you just have to press this button over here and as quickly as you turn it on it flashes couple of lights and then it says on the top and it provides you the battery indicator too after that it’ll just take a couple of seconds once it initializes then we can connect the phone so what we need to do is we need to go into the payment methods and over here we have card reader it says air tap to setup and you have money payment as well if you need to take cash payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo will show up and it’ll state that your is you know it’s it neighbors you can link so you just hit link and i’ll say connecting so that’s connected so it’s really very simple really intuitive nothing complex and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo design if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s showing that it’s connected once when you’ve done that all you need to do is push the done button and which’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be linked so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh say i don’t understand uh one pound or perhaps let’s opt for 5 pounds and i hit charge and it’ll state card reader over here it offers you 3 choice payment link and money uh let’s hit the and it says uh reader maintenance part among three now the factor is due to the fact that there should be a software application upgrade so that is why it is doing this this is just gon na be the first time it’s not gon na happen constantly uh it’s really simple and straightforward i’m guessing and then you see it states um it’s five pounds payment you can either tab or you can insert the card and that’s how it is so it’s providing you the wave logo design or you can place it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is appearing over here it states to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is radiant uh so i’m guessing that once when i touch the card it would just go you know all these lights would uh light up so so as i do not wish to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um strike cancel so guys this finishes up my video for this sum up if you men are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small business even you can constantly use this there is another 3g where you know you don’t require a cellphone to connect it’s got a built-in sim card and i think it’s an excellent alternative if you do not want to fiddle with your phone excessive and i saw that it’s a great alternative you can go onto the up website and check it out over there but for me personally i think that this uh this is a helpful gadget you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small business even you can constantly keep this and after that you understand people have this confidence that they can just touch and which’s it so um you should not be having any problems and uh that is it if you have any concerns just leave it in the comment
