hey men what’s up hope you’re doing well and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this because typically i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has actually increased so i required a i did some research and then i learnt that this company called sum up um it’s actually excellent it’s very convenient and i bought the and simply wished to show you that what comes in package hopefully we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll link it to our phone and see how it works so with no hold-up let’s enter into the video and then let’s take a look at what is available in the box and we go on and open it up fine it’s a really minimalistic design and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m guessing and after that that’s simply a hole to put put a lanyard and it does give you some serial numbers state some up over here on off switch and on the leading you have the location where you can place the credit card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark simply to represent alright so this is the item i think that it looks truly really cool really cool so let’s see what else is available in package plan style is pretty neat uh so first of all we have the user guide some security details decals the interesting thing is that with the the fees are rather low and that is why they’ve got a huge customer base now as like with paypal they do charge somewhat more so with uh i think it’s 1.65 and if you send out someone a qr code i believe so it’s two and a half percent they’re going to draw from the overall payment but all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american express union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay also apart from that in the box there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll go ahead and we’ll connect our phone and we’ll take a look at how it really works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to reveal you how to match it and how it actually works so do you need to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as quickly as i open the app um i have number of options all i need to do is click the more button so i’ll proceed and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you just have to press this button over here and as quickly as you turn it on it flashes few lights and then it says on the leading and it gives you the battery indication also after that it’ll just take a couple of seconds once it initializes then we can link the phone so what we require to do is we need to enter into the payment techniques and over here we have card reader it states air tap to setup and you have money payment too if you need to take cash payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo design will come up and it’ll say that your is you know it’s it neighbors you can link so you just hit link and i’ll state connecting so that’s connected so it’s extremely very simple extremely instinctive nothing complicated and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo design if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s showing that it’s linked as soon as when you’ve done that all you need to do is push the done button and which’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be connected so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh state i don’t know uh one pound or maybe let’s go for 5 pounds and i hit charge and it’ll say card reader over here it gives you 3 alternative payment link and money uh let’s strike the and it says uh reader maintenance part among three now the factor is because there need to be a software update so that is why it is doing this this is just gon na be the first time it’s not gon na take place always uh it’s really simple and simple i’m guessing and after that you see it states um it’s 5 pounds payment you can either tab or you can insert the card which’s how it is so it’s offering you the wave logo or you can place it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is appearing over here it states to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m thinking that as soon as when i touch the card it would simply go you understand all these lights would uh light up so so as i don’t want to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um strike cancel so guys this wraps up my video for this sum up if you guys are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small company even you can constantly utilize this there is another 3g where you understand you don’t require a mobile phone to connect it’s got an integrated sim card and i believe it’s a very good alternative if you do not wish to fiddle with your phone excessive and i saw that it’s an excellent choice you can go onto the up site and check it out over there but for me personally i believe that this uh this is a helpful device you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small company even you can constantly keep this and then you know people have this
