hey guys what’s up hope you’re succeeding and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this since generally i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has increased so i needed a i did some research and then i found out that this company called sum up um it’s actually good it’s extremely helpful and i ordered the and simply wanted to reveal you that what can be found in package hopefully we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll link it to our phone and see how it works so without any delay let’s enter into the video and after that let’s have a look at what can be found in the box and we proceed and open it up all right it’s an extremely minimalistic design and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m thinking and then that’s simply a hole to put put a lanyard and it does provide you some serial numbers state some up over here on off switch and on the leading you have the place where you can insert the charge card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark simply to represent alright so this is the item i think that it looks actually actually neat actually cool so let’s see what else can be found in package package design is pretty cool uh so first off we have the user guide some safety details decals the fascinating thing is that with the the costs are rather low and that is why they have actually got a substantial customer base now as like with paypal they do charge slightly more so with uh i think it’s 1.65 and if you send out somebody a qr code i think so it’s 2 and a half percent they’re going to draw from the total payment but all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american reveal union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay too apart from that in the box there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll go on and we’ll connect our phone and we’ll take a look at how it in fact works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to reveal you how to match it and how it in fact works so do you need to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as quickly as i open the app um i have couple of choices all i need to do is click the more button so i’ll go on and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you simply need to press this button over here and as quickly as you turn it on it flashes couple of lights and after that it states on the leading and it offers you the battery indication as well after that it’ll simply take a couple of seconds once it initializes then we can connect the phone so what we need to do is we require to go into the payment techniques and over here we have card reader it says air tap to setup and you have cash payment too if you require to take cash payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo will come up and it’ll state that your is you know it’s it’s nearby you can link so you just hit link and i’ll say linking so that’s connected so it’s extremely extremely basic very instinctive nothing complex and over here there is a sort of a connection or a bluetooth logo design if i’ll just bring it near and you can see that it’s revealing that it’s connected once when you have actually done that all you have to do is push the done button and and that’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be connected so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh say i don’t know uh one pound or maybe let’s choose five pounds and i hit charge and it’ll state card reader over here it offers you three option payment link and cash uh let’s hit the and it states uh reader upkeep part among three now the factor is because there must be a software application update so that is why it is doing this this is simply gon na be the very first time it’s not gon na take place constantly uh it’s simple and really simple i’m thinking and then you see it says um it’s 5 pounds payment you can either tab or you can place the card and that’s how it is so it’s providing you the wave logo or you can insert it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is appearing over here it says to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is radiant uh so i’m thinking that once when i touch the card it would just go you understand all these lights would uh light up so so as i don’t wish to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um hit cancel so guys this wraps up my video for this sum up if you men are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small business even you can always use this there is another 3g where you understand you don’t require a smart phone to link it’s got an integrated sim card and i think it’s a great option if you do not want to fiddle with your phone too much and i saw that it’s a great alternative you can go onto the up site and check it out over there but for me personally i think that this uh this is a handy gadget you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small business even you can always keep this and then you understand individuals have this self-confidence that they can just touch and and that’s it so um you shouldn’t be having any issues and uh that is it if you have any concerns simply leave it in the
