hey guys what’s up hope you’re succeeding and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this because normally i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has increased so i required a i did some research study and then i discovered that this company called sum up um it’s truly excellent it’s really convenient and i purchased the and simply wanted to reveal you that what can be found in package ideally we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll link it to our phone and see how it works so with no hold-up let’s enter the video and then let’s have a look at what comes in package and we proceed and open it up okay it’s a very minimalistic design and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m guessing and after that that’s just a hole to put put a lanyard and it does give you some serial numbers say some up over here on off switch and on the top you have the location where you can place the credit card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark simply to represent alright so this is the product i think that it looks really actually neat truly cool so let’s see what else comes in the box plan design is pretty neat uh so first off we have the user guide some security info decals the interesting thing is that with the the costs are quite low which is why they have actually got a huge customer base now as like with paypal they do charge somewhat more so with uh i believe it’s 1.65 and if you send somebody a qr code i believe so it’s 2 and a half percent they’re going to draw from the total payment but all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american reveal union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay also apart from that in package there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll proceed and we’ll connect our phone and we’ll have a look at how it really works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to show you how to combine it and how it actually works so do you have to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as soon as i open the app um i have number of options all i require to do is click the more button so i’ll proceed and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you simply have to press this button over here and as quickly as you turn it on it flashes few lights and after that it states on the leading and it provides you the battery indicator also after that it’ll just take a couple of seconds once it initializes then we can link the phone so what we require to do is we need to enter into the payment techniques and over here we have card reader it states air tap to setup and you have cash payment too if you need to take money payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo will come up and it’ll state that your is you know it’s it neighbors you can link so you simply hit connect and i’ll state connecting so that’s linked so it’s extremely extremely basic really instinctive absolutely nothing complex and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo design if i’ll just bring it near and you can see that it’s showing that it’s connected as soon as when you’ve done that all you have to do is push the done button and which’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be linked so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh state i do not know uh one pound or possibly let’s choose five pounds and i struck charge and it’ll say card reader over here it gives you 3 option payment link and cash uh let’s hit the and it states uh reader maintenance part one of 3 now the factor is because there should be a software upgrade so that is why it is doing this this is simply gon na be the first time it’s not gon na happen always uh it’s extremely easy and straightforward i’m thinking and after that you see it says um it’s 5 pounds payment you can either tab or you can place the card and that’s how it is so it’s providing you the wave logo or you can place it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is appearing over here it states to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m guessing that once when i touch the card it would just go you know all these lights would uh light up so so as i do not want to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um hit cancel so guys this finishes up my video for this sum up if you guys are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small business even you can constantly utilize this there is another 3g where you understand you do not require a cellphone to link it’s got an integrated sim card and i believe it’s an excellent alternative if you do not want to fiddle with your phone excessive and i saw that it’s an excellent option you can go onto the up website and check it out over there but for me personally i think that this uh this is a handy gadget you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you know if you’re a tradesperson or if you are a small company even you can always keep this and after that you understand people have this
