hey men what’s up hope you’re doing well and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this because usually i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has increased so i required a i did some research study and then i found out that this company called sum up um it’s truly good it’s extremely handy and i purchased the and simply wanted to reveal you that what is available in package hopefully we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll connect it to our phone and see how it works so with no delay let’s enter the video and after that let’s check out what comes in the box and we go ahead and open it up okay it’s a very minimalistic style and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m guessing and then that’s just a hole to put put a lanyard and it does give you some identification numbers say some up over here on off switch and on the leading you have the place where you can insert the credit card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark just to represent fine so this is the item i think that it looks truly truly cool really cool so let’s see what else is available in the box bundle design is pretty cool uh so first of all we have the user guide some safety details decals the fascinating thing is that with the the fees are rather low which is why they have actually got a big client base now as like with paypal they do charge somewhat more so with uh i believe it’s 1.65 and if you send out somebody a qr code i think so it’s two and a half percent they’re going to take from the total payment but all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american reveal union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay also apart from that in the box there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll proceed and we’ll link our phone and we’ll have a look at how it really works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to show you how to match it and how it really works so do you need to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as soon as i open the app um i have couple of options all i need to do is click the more button so i’ll go on and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you simply have to push this button over here and as quickly as you turn it on it flashes couple of lights and after that it says on the top and it offers you the battery sign as well after that it’ll simply take a few seconds once it initializes then we can link the phone so what we need to do is we need to go into the payment methods and over here we have card reader it says air tap to setup and you have money payment as well if you require to take money payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo will turn up and it’ll state that your is you know it’s it neighbors you can connect so you simply hit connect and i’ll state connecting so that’s connected so it’s really really basic extremely intuitive nothing complex and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo design if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s revealing that it’s connected once when you’ve done that all you have to do is push the done button and and that’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be linked so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh state i do not understand uh one pound or perhaps let’s opt for 5 pounds and i struck charge and it’ll state card reader over here it provides you 3 alternative payment link and cash uh let’s strike the and it says uh reader maintenance part one of three now the factor is due to the fact that there should be a software upgrade so that is why it is doing this this is just gon na be the very first time it’s not gon na occur always uh it’s simple and really basic i’m thinking and then you see it says um it’s five pounds payment you can either tab or you can place the card and that’s how it is so it’s giving you the wave logo or you can insert it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is showing up over here it states to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m guessing that once when i touch the card it would just go you understand all these lights would uh illuminate so so as i do not want to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um hit cancel so men this finishes up my video for this sum up if you people are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small business even you can always utilize this there is another 3g where you know you don’t need a cellphone to connect it’s got an integrated sim card and i believe it’s a great alternative if you do not want to fiddle with your phone excessive and i saw that it’s a great choice you can go onto the up website and check it out over there but for me personally i believe that this uh this is a helpful gadget you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small business even you can always keep this and then you know people have this self-confidence that they can simply
