hey people what’s up hope you’re doing well and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this because usually i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has actually increased so i required a i did some research study and after that i found out that this company called sum up um it’s really great it’s extremely convenient and i bought the and just wished to show you that what can be found in the box hopefully we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll link it to our phone and see how it works so without any hold-up let’s enter the video and then let’s check out what comes in package and we go ahead and open it up alright it’s an extremely minimalistic design and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m thinking and after that that’s just a hole to put put a lanyard and it does give you some serial numbers say some up over here on off switch and on the top you have the location where you can place the charge card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark simply to represent okay so this is the product i believe that it looks actually truly cool actually cool so let’s see what else can be found in package bundle design is pretty cool uh so first of all we have the user guide some security info decals the intriguing thing is that with the the charges are quite low and that is why they have actually got a huge client base now as like with paypal they do charge slightly more so with uh i believe it’s 1.65 and if you send someone a qr code i believe so it’s 2 and a half percent they’re going to draw from the overall payment however all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american reveal union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay too apart from that in package there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll proceed and we’ll link our phone and we’ll take a look at how it in fact works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to show you how to match it and how it really works so do you need to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as quickly as i open the app um i have number of choices all i need to do is click the more button so i’ll proceed and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you simply have to press this button over here and as quickly as you turn it on it flashes few lights and then it states on the leading and it provides you the battery sign too after that it’ll simply take a few seconds once it initializes then we can connect the phone so what we need to do is we need to enter into the payment methods and over here we have card reader it states air tap to setup and you have money payment also if you need to take cash payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo will show up and it’ll say that your is you know it’s it’s nearby you can connect so you just hit link and i’ll say connecting so that’s linked so it’s really extremely easy very intuitive nothing complicated and over here there is a sort of a connection or a bluetooth logo if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s showing that it’s linked once when you have actually done that all you need to do is push the done button and and that’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be linked so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh state i do not know uh one pound or maybe let’s opt for 5 pounds and i hit charge and it’ll say card reader over here it provides you 3 option payment link and money uh let’s strike the and it says uh reader maintenance part among 3 now the reason is since there need to be a software application update so that is why it is doing this this is simply gon na be the first time it’s not gon na occur constantly uh it’s simple and really simple i’m thinking and after that you see it states um it’s 5 pounds payment you can either tab or you can place the card and that’s how it is so it’s offering you the wave logo design or you can insert it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is appearing over here it states to um please tap or insert card and that’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m thinking that as soon as when i touch the card it would just go you understand all these lights would uh illuminate so so as i don’t wish to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um strike cancel so guys this finishes up my video for this sum up if you men are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small company even you can always utilize this there is another 3g where you know you don’t need a cellphone to connect it’s got an integrated sim card and i believe it’s a great option if you do not want to fiddle with your phone excessive and i saw that it’s an excellent option you can go onto the up site and check it out over there but for me personally i believe that this uh this is a convenient gadget you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesperson or if you are a small company even you can constantly keep this and then you know individuals have this
