hey men what’s up hope you’re succeeding and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this because normally i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has actually increased so i required a i did some research and then i discovered that this business called sum up um it’s actually good it’s extremely helpful and i bought the and just wanted to reveal you that what can be found in the box hopefully we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll link it to our phone and see how it works so without any hold-up let’s get into the video and after that let’s check out what comes in the box and we go on and open it up fine it’s an extremely minimalistic design and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m guessing and then that’s just a hole to put put a lanyard and it does give you some identification numbers say some up over here on off switch and on the top you have the place where you can place the charge card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark simply to represent alright so this is the item i believe that it looks actually truly neat truly cool so let’s see what else can be found in the box plan design is quite neat uh so first of all we have the user guide some security information decals the intriguing thing is that with the the fees are rather low which is why they’ve got a big customer base now as like with paypal they do charge a little more so with uh i believe it’s 1.65 and if you send out somebody a qr code i think so it’s 2 and a half percent they’re going to draw from the total payment but all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american reveal union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay too apart from that in package there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll proceed and we’ll link our phone and we’ll have a look at how it actually works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to reveal you how to match it and how it actually works so do you have to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as soon as i open the app um i have couple of options all i need to do is click the more button so i’ll go ahead and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you just have to press this button over here and as quickly as you turn it on it flashes couple of lights and then it states on the top and it offers you the battery indication as well after that it’ll just take a couple of seconds once it initializes then we can link the phone so what we require to do is we need to enter into the payment techniques and over here we have card reader it says air tap to setup and you have cash payment as well if you need to take cash payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo design will turn up and it’ll state that your is you understand it’s it neighbors you can link so you simply struck connect and i’ll say connecting so that’s linked so it’s extremely extremely easy extremely intuitive nothing complicated and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo design if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s showing that it’s connected once when you’ve done that all you need to do is press the done button and which’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be connected so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh say i do not understand uh one pound or maybe let’s opt for five pounds and i hit charge and it’ll say card reader over here it offers you 3 choice payment link and money uh let’s strike the and it says uh reader upkeep part among 3 now the reason is due to the fact that there need to be a software application upgrade so that is why it is doing this this is just gon na be the first time it’s not gon na take place always uh it’s really simple and straightforward i’m thinking and then you see it states um it’s five pounds payment you can either tab or you can insert the card and that’s how it is so it’s giving you the wave logo or you can place it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is appearing over here it states to um please tap or insert card and that’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m thinking that as soon as when i touch the card it would just go you understand all these lights would uh illuminate so so as i don’t wish to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um strike cancel so men this concludes my video for this sum up if you people are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small company even you can constantly use this there is another 3g where you know you don’t need a smart phone to connect it’s got a built-in sim card and i think it’s a great choice if you do not want to fiddle with your phone excessive and i saw that it’s an excellent option you can go onto the up site and check it out over there but for me personally i believe that this uh this is a handy device you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small company even you can constantly keep this and then you know people have this self-confidence that they can just touch and which’s it so um you should not be having any concerns and uh that is it if you have any concerns simply leave it in the remark area below and
