hey people what’s up hope you’re doing well and today my unboxing is going to have to do with a debit card reader why am i doing this since usually i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has increased so i required a i did some research and then i found out that this business called sum up um it’s actually excellent it’s extremely convenient and i bought the and just wished to reveal you that what comes in the box hopefully we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll connect it to our phone and see how it works so with no hold-up let’s get into the video and then let’s check out what comes in the box and we go ahead and open it up all right it’s an extremely minimalistic style and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m thinking and after that that’s simply a hole to put put a lanyard and it does offer you some identification numbers say some up over here on off switch and on the leading you have the location where you can insert the charge card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark just to represent all right so this is the item i believe that it looks really really neat truly cool so let’s see what else can be found in package package style is pretty neat uh so to start with we have the user guide some security information decals the interesting thing is that with the the charges are quite low and that is why they’ve got a huge client base now as like with paypal they do charge somewhat more so with uh i believe it’s 1.65 and if you send someone a qr code i believe so it’s two and a half percent they’re going to take from the total payment but all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american reveal union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay too apart from that in package there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll proceed and we’ll connect our phone and we’ll check out how it actually works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to show you how to match it and how it in fact works so do you need to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as quickly as i open the app um i have couple of options all i need to do is click the more button so i’ll proceed and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you simply need to push this button over here and as quickly as you turn it on it flashes few lights and then it states on the leading and it gives you the battery indicator also after that it’ll simply take a couple of seconds once it initializes then we can connect the phone so what we need to do is we need to enter into the payment approaches and over here we have card reader it states air tap to setup and you have cash payment too if you need to take money payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo design will come up and it’ll state that your is you understand it’s it neighbors you can connect so you simply struck link and i’ll state connecting so that’s linked so it’s extremely really simple extremely intuitive nothing complex and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo design if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s revealing that it’s connected as soon as when you have actually done that all you have to do is push the done button and and that’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be connected so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh state i do not know uh one pound or maybe let’s go for five pounds and i struck charge and it’ll say card reader over here it gives you 3 choice payment link and money uh let’s hit the and it states uh reader maintenance part among 3 now the factor is since there must be a software application upgrade so that is why it is doing this this is just gon na be the first time it’s not gon na take place always uh it’s simple and extremely simple i’m thinking and after that you see it states um it’s 5 pounds payment you can either tab or you can place the card and that’s how it is so it’s providing you the wave logo design or you can insert it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is showing up over here it states to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m thinking that as soon as when i touch the card it would just go you know all these lights would uh light up so so as i don’t want to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um hit cancel so people this finishes up my video for this sum up if you men are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small business even you can constantly utilize this there is another 3g where you know you don’t need a mobile phone to link it’s got an integrated sim card and i think it’s a very good alternative if you do not want to fiddle with your phone too much and i saw that it’s an excellent alternative you can go onto the up site and check it out over there but for me personally i think that this uh this is a helpful gadget you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you know if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small company even you can always keep this and then you know people have this confidence that they can just touch and and that’s it so um you shouldn’t be having any concerns and uh that is it if you have any questions simply leave it in the
