hey people what’s up hope you’re doing well and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this due to the fact that normally i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has actually increased so i needed a i did some research and then i discovered that this business called sum up um it’s actually excellent it’s extremely handy and i bought the and just wanted to reveal you that what is available in the box ideally we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll connect it to our phone and see how it works so without any hold-up let’s enter into the video and then let’s check out what is available in package and we go ahead and open it up all right it’s a really minimalistic design and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m guessing and after that that’s simply a hole to put put a lanyard and it does offer you some identification numbers say some up over here on off switch and on the leading you have the place where you can insert the charge card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark simply to represent all right so this is the item i think that it looks really actually cool really cool so let’s see what else is available in package plan design is pretty cool uh so first off we have the user guide some safety information decals the interesting thing is that with the the charges are quite low and that is why they have actually got a substantial client base now as like with paypal they do charge slightly more so with uh i believe it’s 1.65 and if you send out someone a qr code i believe so it’s two and a half percent they’re going to draw from the total payment however all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american reveal union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay as well apart from that in package there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll go on and we’ll link our phone and we’ll check out how it actually works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to reveal you how to pair it and how it actually works so do you need to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as soon as i open the app um i have couple of options all i need to do is click the more button so i’ll proceed and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you just have to push this button over here and as quickly as you turn it on it flashes few lights and after that it states on the top and it gives you the battery sign also after that it’ll just take a few seconds once it initializes then we can connect the phone so what we need to do is we require to go into the payment methods and over here we have card reader it states air tap to setup and you have cash payment too if you need to take money payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo will show up and it’ll state that your is you understand it’s it’s nearby you can link so you simply struck link and i’ll say connecting so that’s linked so it’s very very easy really instinctive nothing complex and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo design if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s revealing that it’s connected as soon as when you’ve done that all you need to do is push the done button and and that’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be connected so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh say i don’t know uh one pound or maybe let’s opt for five pounds and i struck charge and it’ll say card reader over here it offers you 3 alternative payment link and cash uh let’s strike the and it says uh reader upkeep part among three now the factor is because there need to be a software update so that is why it is doing this this is just gon na be the very first time it’s not gon na take place always uh it’s very simple and uncomplicated i’m thinking and then you see it says um it’s 5 pounds payment you can either tab or you can insert the card and that’s how it is so it’s providing you the wave logo or you can place it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is showing up over here it states to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m thinking that as soon as when i touch the card it would just go you know all these lights would uh light up so so as i don’t wish to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um strike cancel so people this wraps up my video for this sum up if you guys are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small company even you can constantly utilize this there is another 3g where you know you do not need a smart phone to connect it’s got an integrated sim card and i believe it’s a very good choice if you do not want to fiddle with your phone excessive and i saw that it’s a great choice you can go onto the up website and check it out over there but for me personally i believe that this uh this is a helpful device you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small company even you can always keep this and after that you understand people have this self-confidence that they can simply touch and and that’s it so um you should not be having any problems and uh that is it if you have any concerns simply leave it
