hey men what’s up hope you’re doing well and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this because normally i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has increased so i required a i did some research study and then i learnt that this company called sum up um it’s actually great it’s very handy and i bought the and just wished to show you that what comes in the box ideally we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll connect it to our phone and see how it works so without any delay let’s enter into the video and then let’s have a look at what can be found in the box and we go on and open it up all right it’s a very minimalistic design and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m guessing and then that’s just a hole to put put a lanyard and it does provide you some serial numbers say some up over here on off switch and on the leading you have the location where you can insert the charge card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark simply to represent alright so this is the item i believe that it looks truly really cool really cool so let’s see what else is available in package bundle style is quite cool uh so to start with we have the user guide some security details decals the intriguing thing is that with the the costs are quite low and that is why they have actually got a huge client base now as like with paypal they do charge somewhat more so with uh i believe it’s 1.65 and if you send somebody a qr code i believe so it’s two and a half percent they’re going to draw from the total payment however all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american express union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay as well apart from that in package there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll go ahead and we’ll connect our phone and we’ll have a look at how it actually works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to show you how to match it and how it in fact works so do you have to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as quickly as i open the app um i have couple of options all i require to do is click the more button so i’ll go ahead and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you simply need to press this button over here and as soon as you turn it on it flashes couple of lights and then it says on the leading and it offers you the battery indicator too after that it’ll simply take a couple of seconds once it initializes then we can link the phone so what we need to do is we need to go into the payment techniques and over here we have card reader it says air tap to setup and you have cash payment as well if you need to take money payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo will show up and it’ll state that your is you know it’s it neighbors you can connect so you simply struck link and i’ll say linking so that’s linked so it’s extremely very easy really intuitive nothing complex and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo design if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s showing that it’s linked once when you’ve done that all you have to do is push the done button and which’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be connected so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh say i don’t understand uh one pound or perhaps let’s choose five pounds and i struck charge and it’ll say card reader over here it gives you three alternative payment link and money uh let’s hit the and it states uh reader maintenance part among three now the factor is since there must be a software application upgrade so that is why it is doing this this is just gon na be the first time it’s not gon na take place always uh it’s straightforward and really simple i’m thinking and after that you see it states um it’s 5 pounds payment you can either tab or you can place the card and that’s how it is so it’s providing you the wave logo or you can place it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is showing up over here it states to um please tap or insert card and that’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m thinking that as soon as when i touch the card it would simply go you know all these lights would uh illuminate so so as i don’t want to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um hit cancel so guys this wraps up my video for this sum up if you people are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small company even you can always utilize this there is another 3g where you understand you do not require a cellphone to link it’s got an integrated sim card and i believe it’s an excellent option if you do not want to fiddle with your phone excessive and i saw that it’s an excellent option you can go onto the up site and check it out over there but for me personally i think that this uh this is a convenient gadget you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesperson or if you are a small company even you can constantly keep this and after that you know
