hey people what’s up hope you’re succeeding and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this because usually i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has increased so i needed a i did some research and then i discovered that this business called sum up um it’s truly excellent it’s really helpful and i bought the and just wanted to show you that what is available in the box ideally we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll link it to our phone and see how it works so with no delay let’s enter into the video and after that let’s check out what is available in package and we go on and open it up alright it’s an extremely minimalistic design and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m guessing and then that’s simply a hole to put put a lanyard and it does provide you some identification numbers state some up over here on off switch and on the top you have the location where you can place the credit card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark just to represent okay so this is the product i believe that it looks actually really neat actually cool so let’s see what else comes in the box bundle style is pretty cool uh so to start with we have the user guide some safety info decals the intriguing thing is that with the the costs are quite low and that is why they have actually got a huge client base now as like with paypal they do charge slightly more so with uh i believe it’s 1.65 and if you send somebody a qr code i think so it’s 2 and a half percent they’re going to take from the overall payment however all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american reveal union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay also apart from that in package there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll go ahead and we’ll connect our phone and we’ll have a look at how it in fact works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to show you how to pair it and how it in fact works so do you need to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as quickly as i open the app um i have couple of options all i require to do is click the more button so i’ll proceed and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you simply have to press this button over here and as quickly as you turn it on it flashes few lights and after that it says on the leading and it gives you the battery indicator as well after that it’ll simply take a few seconds once it initializes then we can connect the phone so what we require to do is we need to go into the payment techniques and over here we have card reader it says air tap to setup and you have cash payment too if you require to take money payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo will show up and it’ll state that your is you understand it’s it’s nearby you can link so you just struck link and i’ll state connecting so that’s connected so it’s very extremely easy very intuitive absolutely nothing complex and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo if i’ll just bring it near and you can see that it’s showing that it’s connected once when you have actually done that all you have to do is push the done button and which’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be connected so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh say i don’t know uh one pound or perhaps let’s opt for 5 pounds and i struck charge and it’ll state card reader over here it offers you three choice payment link and cash uh let’s hit the and it says uh reader upkeep part one of three now the reason is since there must be a software application upgrade so that is why it is doing this this is simply gon na be the very first time it’s not gon na happen always uh it’s straightforward and really simple i’m guessing and then you see it states um it’s 5 pounds payment you can either tab or you can place the card and that’s how it is so it’s giving you the wave logo design or you can insert it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is showing up over here it says to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is radiant uh so i’m thinking that once when i touch the card it would just go you understand all these lights would uh illuminate so so as i do not wish to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um hit cancel so men this finishes up my video for this sum up if you men are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small company even you can always utilize this there is another 3g where you understand you don’t need a smart phone to connect it’s got an integrated sim card and i believe it’s a very good choice if you do not want to fiddle with your phone too much and i saw that it’s an excellent option you can go onto the up site and check it out over there but for me personally i think that this uh this is a helpful device you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small company even you can constantly keep this and then you understand individuals
