hey men what’s up hope you’re doing well and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this since usually i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has increased so i required a i did some research study and then i learnt that this company called sum up um it’s truly good it’s extremely helpful and i ordered the and simply wished to reveal you that what can be found in the box ideally we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll link it to our phone and see how it works so without any delay let’s get into the video and then let’s have a look at what can be found in package and we proceed and open it up all right it’s a really minimalistic style and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m guessing and after that that’s just a hole to put put a lanyard and it does give you some serial numbers state some up over here on off switch and on the top you have the location where you can place the credit card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark simply to represent alright so this is the item i think that it looks really really neat really cool so let’s see what else is available in package package design is pretty neat uh so first of all we have the user guide some safety info decals the intriguing thing is that with the the costs are quite low which is why they have actually got a substantial customer base now as like with paypal they do charge slightly more so with uh i believe it’s 1.65 and if you send someone a qr code i think so it’s 2 and a half percent they’re going to take from the overall payment but all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american reveal union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay too apart from that in package there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll go on and we’ll link our phone and we’ll check out how it actually works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to show you how to combine it and how it in fact works so do you have to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as soon as i open the app um i have number of alternatives all i require to do is click the more button so i’ll go ahead and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you simply need to press this button over here and as soon as you turn it on it flashes few lights and then it says on the leading and it provides you the battery indication as well after that it’ll simply take a couple of seconds once it initializes then we can link the phone so what we need to do is we need to enter into the payment methods and over here we have card reader it states air tap to setup and you have cash payment too if you require to take cash payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo will turn up and it’ll say that your is you understand it’s it’s nearby you can connect so you simply struck connect and i’ll say linking so that’s connected so it’s extremely extremely easy very instinctive nothing complicated and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s revealing that it’s connected as soon as when you have actually done that all you have to do is press the done button and which’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be connected so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh say i don’t know uh one pound or maybe let’s opt for 5 pounds and i struck charge and it’ll say card reader over here it gives you 3 choice payment link and money uh let’s strike the and it says uh reader maintenance part among three now the reason is since there must be a software update so that is why it is doing this this is simply gon na be the first time it’s not gon na take place constantly uh it’s straightforward and very basic i’m thinking and then you see it states um it’s five pounds payment you can either tab or you can insert the card which’s how it is so it’s giving you the wave logo or you can insert it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is showing up over here it states to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m guessing that once when i touch the card it would just go you understand all these lights would uh light up so so as i do not want to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um strike cancel so people this concludes my video for this sum up if you people are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small company even you can constantly utilize this there is another 3g where you understand you do not need a cellphone to link it’s got a built-in sim card and i think it’s a great option if you do not wish to fiddle with your phone too much and i saw that it’s a great alternative you can go onto the up website and check it out over there but for me personally i think that this uh this is an useful device you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small business even you can always keep this and then you understand people have this self-confidence that they can simply touch and which’s it so um you should not be having any issues and uh that is it if you have any concerns just leave it in the comment section listed below and
