hey men what’s up hope you’re doing well and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this because normally i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has increased so i needed a i did some research study and after that i learnt that this company called sum up um it’s actually excellent it’s very handy and i purchased the and simply wished to show you that what can be found in the box hopefully we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll link it to our phone and see how it works so without any delay let’s get into the video and then let’s have a look at what can be found in package and we go ahead and open it up all right it’s a very minimalistic style and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m thinking and then that’s simply a hole to put put a lanyard and it does give you some serial numbers say some up over here on off switch and on the leading you have the location where you can place the credit card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark just to represent all right so this is the product i think that it looks actually truly neat really cool so let’s see what else comes in the box plan design is quite cool uh so firstly we have the user guide some safety details decals the interesting thing is that with the the charges are rather low which is why they have actually got a big client base now as like with paypal they do charge somewhat more so with uh i believe it’s 1.65 and if you send somebody a qr code i believe so it’s two and a half percent they’re going to draw from the total payment however all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american reveal union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay as well apart from that in the box there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll go on and we’ll link our phone and we’ll check out how it in fact works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to reveal you how to pair it and how it in fact works so do you need to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as quickly as i open the app um i have number of choices all i require to do is click the more button so i’ll proceed and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you simply need to push this button over here and as soon as you turn it on it flashes few lights and then it says on the leading and it offers you the battery indication also after that it’ll simply take a couple of seconds once it initializes then we can link the phone so what we need to do is we need to go into the payment methods and over here we have card reader it says air tap to setup and you have cash payment as well if you need to take cash payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo design will show up and it’ll say that your is you know it’s it’s nearby you can connect so you simply hit link and i’ll say linking so that’s connected so it’s really very easy really user-friendly absolutely nothing complicated and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo if i’ll just bring it near and you can see that it’s showing that it’s linked as soon as when you’ve done that all you have to do is press the done button and which’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be linked so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh state i don’t understand uh one pound or maybe let’s choose five pounds and i hit charge and it’ll state card reader over here it provides you 3 option payment link and cash uh let’s strike the and it says uh reader maintenance part one of 3 now the reason is due to the fact that there must be a software application upgrade so that is why it is doing this this is simply gon na be the very first time it’s not gon na occur constantly uh it’s straightforward and really basic i’m thinking and after that you see it states um it’s 5 pounds payment you can either tab or you can place the card and that’s how it is so it’s providing you the wave logo or you can place it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is showing up over here it states to um please tap or insert card and that’s it and this light over here is radiant uh so i’m thinking that as soon as when i touch the card it would simply go you know all these lights would uh illuminate so so as i don’t want to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um hit cancel so men this finishes up my video for this sum up if you people are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small business even you can always utilize this there is another 3g where you know you don’t require a smart phone to connect it’s got an integrated sim card and i believe it’s a very good option if you do not want to fiddle with your phone too much and i saw that it’s an excellent alternative you can go onto the up website and check it out over there but for me personally i think that this uh this is a convenient gadget you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you know if you’re a tradesperson or if you are a small business even you can constantly keep this and then you know people have this self-confidence that they can just touch and which’s it so um you shouldn’t be having any issues and uh that is it if you have any concerns simply leave it in the remark area listed below and i’ll
