hey people what’s up hope you’re doing well and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this due to the fact that normally i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has actually increased so i needed a i did some research study and then i learnt that this business called sum up um it’s actually great it’s extremely handy and i purchased the and simply union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay as well apart from that in the box there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll go on and we’ll connect our phone and we’ll check out how it in fact works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to reveal you how to pair it and how it really works so do you need to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as quickly as i open the app um i have number of options all i require to do is click the more button so i’ll go ahead and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you just need to press this button over here and as soon as you turn it on it flashes few lights and after that it states on the top and it offers you the battery indication also after that it’ll simply take a couple of seconds once it initializes then we can connect the phone so what we need to do is we need to enter into the payment techniques and over here we have card reader it says air tap to setup and you have cash payment too if you require to take money payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo will show up and it’ll say that your is you know it’s it neighbors you can connect so you just struck link and i’ll state connecting so that’s connected so it’s very very simple really user-friendly absolutely nothing complex and over here there is a sort of a bluetooth or a connection logo design if i’ll simply bring it near and you can see that it’s revealing that it’s linked as soon as when you’ve done that all you have to do is press the done button and which’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be connected so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh state i don’t understand uh one pound or maybe let’s opt for 5 pounds and i struck charge and it’ll say card reader over here it provides you 3 choice payment link and money uh let’s hit the and it states uh reader upkeep part among 3 now the reason is since there need to be a software update so that is why it is doing this this is simply gon na be the very first time it’s not gon na take place always uh it’s straightforward and really basic i’m thinking and after that you see it states um it’s five pounds payment you can either tab or you can place the card and that’s how it is so it’s providing you the wave logo design or you can insert it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is showing up over here it states to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is glowing uh so i’m guessing that as soon as when i touch the card it would just go you understand all these lights would uh illuminate so so as i don’t wish to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um strike cancel so people this finishes up my video for this sum up if you men are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small company even you can always utilize this there is another 3g where you know you do not require a cellphone to link it’s got a built-in sim card and i think it’s an excellent option if you do not wish to fiddle with your phone excessive and i saw that it’s an excellent option you can go onto the up website and check it out over there but for me personally i think that this uh this is a convenient device you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you know if you’re a tradesperson or if you are a small business even you can always keep this and then you know people have this self-confidence that they can simply touch and and that’s it so um you should not be having any problems and uh that is it if you have any questions
