hey guys what’s up hope you’re succeeding and today my unboxing is going to be about a debit card reader why am i doing this because typically i was taking payments over the phone and now my work has actually increased so i required a i did some research study and then i learnt that this company called sum up um it’s actually great it’s really convenient and i ordered the and just wished to reveal you that what comes in package ideally we’ll go through the unboxing we’ll un-package it and we’ll link it to our phone and see how it works so without any hold-up let’s enter the video and then let’s have a look at what can be found in package and we go ahead and open it up fine it’s an extremely minimalistic design and here we go that is the it’s uh it’s got matte uh plastic on the bottom it’s got this uh charging port i’m thinking and after that that’s simply a hole to put put a lanyard and it does provide you some serial numbers state some up over here on off switch and on the leading you have the place where you can place the credit card it’s got a flush keypad and it’s got a cross and backspace and a tick mark just to represent all right so this is the item i think that it looks truly really neat actually cool so let’s see what else can be found in the box bundle design is quite neat uh so first of all we have the user guide some safety info decals the fascinating thing is that with the the charges are rather low and that is why they have actually got a big customer base now as like with paypal they do charge slightly more so with uh i believe it’s 1.65 and if you send out someone a qr code i think so it’s 2 and a half percent they’re going to draw from the overall payment but all of the cards are accepted like visa mastercard american express union pay and you can see google pay and apple pay also apart from that in the box there is a usb micro usb so next what we’ll do is we’ll go ahead and we’ll link our phone and we’ll have a look at how it really works here i have my iphone so i’m first of all going to reveal you how to pair it and how it in fact works so do you have to download the app on your phone so here i go i have the app and as soon as i open the app um i have number of choices all i require to do is click the more button so i’ll proceed and i’ll turn it on so to turn it on you simply have to push this button over here and as soon as you turn it on it flashes few lights and after that it says on the top and it offers you the battery sign too after that it’ll simply take a couple of seconds once it initializes then we can link the phone so what we need to do is we need to go into the payment approaches and over here we have card reader it states air tap to setup and you have cash payment as well if you need to take money payment you click that button here and this bluetooth logo will come up and it’ll say that your is you know it’s it’s nearby you can connect so you just hit link and i’ll say linking so that’s linked so it’s really very basic extremely user-friendly absolutely nothing complex and over here there is a sort of a connection or a bluetooth logo design if i’ll just bring it near and you can see that it’s revealing that it’s connected as soon as when you have actually done that all you need to do is push the done button and and that’s it so uh even if you turn it off or turn it back on uh this will be connected so for argument’s sake if i were to charge uh state i don’t know uh one pound or maybe let’s choose 5 pounds and i struck charge and it’ll state card reader over here it offers you three alternative payment link and cash uh let’s strike the and it states uh reader maintenance part among 3 now the factor is since there need to be a software application upgrade so that is why it is doing this this is simply gon na be the first time it’s not gon na happen constantly uh it’s extremely easy and simple i’m guessing and then you see it states um it’s five pounds payment you can either tab or you can insert the card which’s how it is so it’s offering you the wave logo or you can insert it or and or you can tap it and the payment would be charged so the spinning circle is appearing over here it states to um please tap or insert card which’s it and this light over here is radiant uh so i’m thinking that as soon as when i touch the card it would simply go you know all these lights would uh illuminate so so as i don’t wish to do this payment so what i’ll do is i will um hit cancel so people this finishes up my video for this sum up if you people are a sole trader or if you’re doing a small business even you can always utilize this there is another 3g where you know you do not require a cellphone to link it’s got a built-in sim card and i think it’s an excellent option if you do not wish to fiddle with your phone too much and i saw that it’s a great alternative you can go onto the up website and check it out over there but for me personally i believe that this uh this is a convenient device you can put it in your pocket if you’re doing you understand if you’re a tradesman or if you are a small business even you can constantly keep this and after that you know individuals have this self-confidence that they can simply touch and which’s it so um you shouldn’t be having any concerns and uh that is it if you have any concerns simply leave it in the
